A MOTION OF PROTEST. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 16. “Those who voted against Mr T. K. Sidey's Bill in the first place have a lot to do to reconcile their consciences,” said Mr Lynch, of Manawatu, at the Dominion Farmers’ Union executive this morning. A delegate: The whip cracked. Mr Lynch: Yes. They were loyal to their party. They were looking to their constituents. Other delegates declare that they had not had a fair deal. A motion of protest was carried.
