THE RHINELAND
EVACUATION QUESTION. London, October 15. The Dailv Telegraphs diplomatic correspondent states that Germany is not likely for some time to send a Note to the Powers, in relation to the evacuation of the Rhineland which was discussed at Geneva. The delay is associated with the American elections and the absence of Dr. Stresemann who resumes on November 1, It is also hinted that the delay is partly due to M. Poincares new reparations and security demands which Berlin regards as unacceptable.—Australian Press Association.
