DISCOVERY IN ALASKA. WRANGELL ISLAND EXPLORED. ' Vancouver, October 10. The Stoll-McCracken expedition which is searching the sub-Polar regions of Alaska and Siberia in the interests of the American Museum of Natural History, has succeeded in obtaining mummified remains of three adults and one child who are believed to have crossed from Asia to America thousands of years ago. They toured Wrangell Island area, finding unexpected birds and animal life.—United Service.
