CROSS-EXAMINATION OF MR PASCOE. To the Editor. Sir, —I submit the following questions for Mr Pascoe:— 1. What is the meaning of the following terms: “Law” in John 1., 17 (if it does not mean “justice” what does it mean?) “Law” in Romans V., 13, VII., 1 (both expressions), VII. 9 “Commandment” in Romans VII. 9. “Ordinances” in Colossians 11. 14. 2. Was the decalogue given in Eden? 3. Quote any passage in the New Testament which enjoins the keeping of the Sabbath Day. 4. What is the meaning of the term “Son of Man” ?—I am, etc., FRANK SAMPSON.
