FIGURES FOR JUNE. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 12. The vital statistics gazetted to-night show for June that the total live births registered for urban areas amounted to 980, as against 1,099 in May, a decrease of 119. The deaths in June were 532, an increase of 37 as compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths, males contributed 287 and females 245. Sixty-two of the deaths were children under five years of age, being 11.61 per cent, of the whole number. Fifty-two of these were under one year of age.
