SHIPMENT TO LONDON. (Rec. 7.40 p.m.) New York, May 28. Despite the announcement of 15,000,000 dollars more gold engaged for export to London with the intimation that subsequent withdrawals would be considerably greater, the sterling exchange held firmly around 4.88 g dollars for cable transfers.
