At Tarragona after a week’s hunt wherein hundreds, including the murderer’s brother and a dog participated, the pursuers found the youth who ran amuck and shot a number of women and children. The youth re fused to surrender and the pursuers fired and killed him.—Australian Press Association—United Service. Last week it was reported from Madrid that a youth in the village of Pasanant in the province of Tarragona induced children to come to the fields to watch pigeon shooting. He shot seven children dead with a double-barrelled shotgun and killed eight en route to the village, where he shot a woman dead, wounded another and slew her with an axe. He wounded five more and fled, pursued by the police.
