COMPETITION RESULTS.
At a meeting of the Prize Farm Competition Committee last night, the award in the current competitions was announced by the judges (Messrs D. Marshall and T. McGillivray) as follows: Competition for large farms:— A. S. Holms (Waimahaka) 911 pts 1 J. T. May (Winton) .... 884 pts 2 D. H. McLean (Caroline) .. 870 pts 3 J. Stevenson (Wendon) .. 868 pts 4 A. E. Fleck (Fairfax) .. 858 pts 5 Competition for farms under 250 acres:— A. A. G. Thomson (Brydone) 898 pts 1 R. H. Dickie (Tuturau) .. 890 pts 2 O. Sutton (Boggy Burn) .. 880 pts 3 T. O. Wallace (Brydone) .. 864 pts 4 J. J. Blakie (Ryal Bush) .. 814 pts -5 Mrs R. S. Swale (Kauana) 795 pts 6 Appreciation was expressed to the judges and to the trustees in the McKinnon estate who had donated the prizes.
