MAD WATCHDOG
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER BITTEN. (Rec. 9.10 p.m.) Budapest, January 25. The mother, aged 85, and younger sister of Maniu, leader of the National Peasants’ Party of Rumania, were bitten by a house watchdog which suddenly became mad. They were taken to the Pasteur Institute at Kelozvar.—A. and N.Z.
