UNITED STATES WHEAT

BOUNTIFUL CROP ANTICIPATED. New York, July 7. Chicago harvesting reports from an area extending from Dakota to Texas indicate that the farmers will enjoy another season of wheat prosperity with a crop almost as large as 1926, despite unseasonable weather early in the spring. The Kansas yield is expected to be about 120,000,000 bushels, while crops in Nebraska, Texas and Oklahama fall slightly below those of 1926. Minnesota’s harvest is expected to be a little I above last year’s.—A. and N.Z.
