INJUNCTION AGAINST LEVY SOUGHT. JUDGMENT RESERVED. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, June 16. Judgment was reserved in the film tax application case.—A. and N.Z. A message from Sydney on June 14 stated that representatives of a big picture film distributors company applied to the Acting Chief Justice in High Court Chambers for an injunction restraining the State Government from levying and collecting a tax on the exhibition of picture films. A declaration was also sought that the Act under which the tax was collected was invalid. The matter was allowed to stand over until to-morrow to enable counsel for the Government to confer with the Attor--1
