LAING SHIELD MATCH AT OTATARA. A match will be played at. Otatara today between the Gore Golf Club (challengers) and the Invercargill Golf Club (holders) for the Laing Shield. Following are the teams, the Gore players being named first: —Scott plays Camm, Hawke plays Barclay, Houston plays Cox, Poppelwell plays Clulee, Young plays Wish, Bryne plays Binney. The Laing Shield players from Gore will be accompanied by eight or ten fellow members for whom opponents from the Invercargill Club will be arranged.
