CONTROVERSY OVER CONTROL. Rugby, June 13. Lord Lloyd, High Commissioner in Egypt, has been in constant touch with the Egyptian Government over the question of control of the Egyptian army and friendly communications are still proceeding. The Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Locker-Lampson, to-day said he hoped circumstances would permit of a fuller statement shortly.—British Official Wireless.
