DAWES PLAN PROGRESSING FAVOURABLY. (Rec. 9.15 p.m.) Berlin, June 12. The Agent General for Reparations reports that the execution of the Dawes Plan is progressing normally. The German Budget statement, he says, lacks clearness, necessitating exhaustive study. The expenditure shows a constant tendency to exceed the revenue, necessitating borrowing, but Budget stability is not impaired. Despite heavy unemployment an excess ol imports over export savings are growing, —A. and N.Z.
