(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Brisbane, June 12. McKnight was given an ovation in the Brisbane Stadium when he knocked out Les Robson, the Queensland welter-weight, in the third round. Robson swapped punches and paid the penalty. It was a great fight.—A. and N.Z. PAYNE WINS ON POINTS. (Rec. 9.5 p.m.) Sydney, June 12. At the Stadium, Tiger Payne beat Sunny Jim Williams on points in a hard-fought contest.
