NORTHERN RESULTS. AUCKLAND. Heavy rain made the grounds very wet and muddy for football matches on Saturday. Marist 33, City 8. Devonport 9, Ponsonby 6. Newton 19, Athletic 14. During the second spell of the Devon-port-Ponsonby match, Delgrosso, the Ponsonby captain, was ordered off by the referee. Jack Kirwan, centre threequarter for Marists senior team, twisted his knee badly in the match against City and had to go off. CHRISTCHURCH. Hornby (14) beat Waimairi (12). Sydenham (30) beat Woolston (15). Addington defaulted to Marists. DUNEDIN. City 0 v. Pacific 0. Christian Bros. 39 v. Kaikorai 3.
