TRIAL AT DARWIN. Darwin, June 9. At the trial of three aborigines charged with throwing a spear at the missionaries at the Crocodile Island Mission in March, evidence was given that a stockwhip was used on the aborigines for certain offences. Robertson stated that he administered the punishment on one of the accused. The aborigines were found guilty and were remanded for sentence.— K. and N.Z.
