TRADE RECIPROCITY
GERMAN-CANADIAN AGREEMENT FALLS THROUGH. (Rec. 9.5 p.m.) Ottawa, June 10. Negotiations for a trade agreement with Germany have fallen through. It was proposed that Germany should extend to Canada its “favoured nation” tariff, and Canada particularly sought a low tariff on flour exports. Germany declined this feature, and the whole matter was dropped —Sun Cable.
