THEFT FROM DWELLING

BURGLAR CAPTURED. (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, June 9. At the Police Court James Wood, aged 26, pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence on a charge of breaking, entering and stealing articles from the dwelling house of Herbert Atkinson. Accused was seen to leave the house by the wife of the owner, who informed her husband. The latter followed accused until with help he apprehended him. The Bench commended Atkinson for the prompt way he pursued accused, otherwise further trouble might have occurred.
