COMPLAINT FROM CANADA. (Rec. 9.25 p.m.) Ottawa, June 8. The Bread and Cake Makers’ Association in a memorandum sent to every member of Parliament complains that the adherence to the Australian Treaty is costing the Canadian housewife seven cents more on each purchase of two pounds of raisins and currants, and the farmers two cents per pound on their butter.—A. and N.Z.
