The Southland Clans

THE MISTLETOE CLAN. The last meeting of the above Clan was held in the Waianiwa Hall on Saturday, April 30. Those present were: Cousins Olga and Pearl Anderson, Ellen and Isla Whitelaw, Olive Forrest, Doris and Ray Young and myself. Mrs Young and Farmer Joe were also present. The meeting commenced at 2 o’clock, and we sewed until 4 o’clock, then the meeting closed. —Cousin Eva Scott. THE WISTARIA CLAN. Was to meet at 7 o’clock last night. LILAC AND KAMAHI CLANS. The weekly meeting of the Lilac and Kamahi Clans was held in the North Invercargill Public Hall on Saturday, April 30. The attendance was very satisfactory and we were able to have a splendid rehearsal. Our copper trail of last week was added to and altogether we realised nearly £1 10/-. This will be used in purchasing materials for the frocking of the play. After the rehearsal a meeting was held, and several of the Cousins’ mothers joined us to make the necessary arrangements about the various costumes. The next meeting will be held as usual on Saturday, May 7, at 2 o’clock sharp. Cousin Daphne Godward. —
