ALLEGED ASSAULT
MAN STABBED AT AUCKLAND. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 3. Joseph Andre, aged 53, was charged in the Police Court that on December 2 he assaulted George Cargill, causing actual bodily harm. Sergeant Edwards said Cargill was stabbed and had five stitches put in his groin. It would not be said that it was accidental, but it might have been said there was provocation. Accused was remanded on bail amounting to £25.
