Lenglen, when interviewed on Wednesday. “To want to win makes the ‘good sport.’ For myself I would not be a good loser. It is not expected of me.” She said that as a professional she had escaped from “a lot of silly boresome people.” She was enjoying herself for the first time.—A. and N.Z.
