PEDIGREE STOCK

SALE AT HERIOT. DR. PICKERILL’S HERD. On Friday Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd. held a dispersal sale of Dr. Pickerill’s well known Jersey herd at the “Meadows Fann,” Heriot. The sale of the herd, which included a number of cows and bulls bred from stock with great butter fat production records to their credit, attracted farmers from all parts of Southland and from centres as far north as Masterton.
