SEAFIELD TOURNAMENT. Wanganui, October 25. The Seafield golf tournament began today in fine but overcast weather. The course is in excellent condition though on the heavy side owing to recent rains. Enfield successfully defended the challenge for the heavyweight tug-of-war championship of New Zealand this evening by defeating Timaru for the second time by two inches.
