RESOLUTIONS APPROVED. CONGRATULATIONS TO PRIME MINISTER. (From Our Special Reporter.) Wellington, June 18. After the caucus meeting of the Reform Party late yesterday afternoon the Chief Whip, Mr. J. S. Dickson, issued a statement for general information. The following resolutions were unanimously approved by the members present — (1) That this meeting of members of the Government Party in the House of Representatives desires to extend to the Prime Minister as Leader of the Party its hearty congratulations on the splendid victory achieved at the General Election, which was largely due to the sound and progressive policy upon which the country was asked to pronounce a verdict, and also to the able manner in which this policy was expounded by the Prime Minister. (2) That this meeting further desires to express its complete confidence in the Prime Minister * and Government and pledges itself to assist in the fullest degree the passing of various policy measures designed to give effect to the platform of the Party.
