AUSTRALIA’S SHARE
COST OF WEMBLEY. Melbourne, April 30. At a meeting of commissioners convened to wind up affaire with regard to the Wembley Exhibition Mr Bruce said a great educational work had been carried out at Wembley. There was not the slightest question that it had laid a solid foundation for a greatly increased inter-Empire trade. A detailed statement with respect to the 1925 Exhibition is not yet available, but the main figures show that the total cost to the commissioners was £77,818, and, deducing £50,000 from the Exhibition Association, the cost to the Commonwealth was £27,818.—A. & N.Z.
