CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, April 6. Play in the Canterbury tennis championships was interrupted to-day by rain. The finals of the championships will be played on Saturday. Other unfinished sections are being continued to-day. In the final of the ladies’ singles handicap Miss A. Columbus beat Miss R. Hall 9—o. In the final of the men’s doubles handicap A. L. Wood and E. G. Burn beat W. Somerville and S. W. Field 9—6.
