SYDNEY SHOW

NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATION. SOME FINE ANIMALS. Sydney, March 29. New Zealand’s representation at the Sydney Royal Show, which opens to-day, is described as the best for many years, and includes many notable prize-winners from New Zealand shows, Shorthorns, Aberdeens, Polled Angus, Friesians, Jerseys, and fat cattle having come forward. At some past shows New Zealand breeders of Friesians have spoken disparagingly of the entries in that breed and the opportunity is afforded this year of seeing the two countries competing on level terms. —A. and N.Z. RECORD ENTRIES RECEIVED. (Rec. 8.10 p.m.) Sydney, March 29. The Royal Agricultural Society’s Easter Show was opened in beautiful weather. Record entries were received from all the States and New Zealand, the Dominion having a specially fine display in the cattle section. Although to-day was devoted to judging, the attendance already bids fair to create a record.—A. and N.Z. NEW ZEALAND AWARDS. (Rec. 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, Mar. 29.
