HOE STRIKE

LOCKOUT THREATENED. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, March 17. The Hoe employees at a meeting reiterated their refusal to resume. It is announced that the trades union executive is determined to prevent the strike. This is interpreted as meaning that the strikers will be expelled. Printing employers have posted a lockout notice which will become operative unless the Hoe employees resume. —Sun Cable.
