The Geneva correspondent of the Daily Express states that at Germany’s request the Swiss branch of the Universal League for Friendly Co-operation Among Churches is raising the question of Germany’s responsibility for the Great War, and is inviting the London branch to co-operate. It is significant that this movement to clear Germany from guilt should immediately follow the formation of the new German Government.
