LOYALTY TO THE PROVINCE.

To the Editor. Sir,—Will you allow me to congratulate “Old Timer,” on his article which appeared in your issue of the 19th inst., and to say how much it would add to the future prosperity of Southland did all real Southlanders emulate “Old Timer’s” true loyalty. Its men of “Old Timer’s” type the Dominion has to thank for its wonderful advancement and solid prosperity to-day. Those less loyal or perhaps leas thoughtful may be doing Southland good service by bearing “Old Timer’s" loyalty in mind. I am, etc., 'PRUE SOUTHLAND.
