WAR-TIME PAY
WINDFALL FOR POSTAL OFFICIALS. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). LONDON, November 7. The Appeal Court has decided in favour of the employees in the last of six test cases in connection with the claim of Post Office clerks and telegraphists for full civil pay in addition to the war bonus during their military service. This decision will mean a windfall of £2,000,000 to 100,000 employees.
