THE WHEAT MARKET
CARGOES FIRMLY HELD. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). LONDON, November 8. (Reveived November 9, 11.5 p.m.) Wheat cargoes were firmly held at the opening owing to the strength of the market in America and Canada, but reports of heavy world shipments caused quieter closing, though quotations held steadily. Parcels closed about threepence lower than the day’s best quotations.
