NOTES FOR THE ANGLERS. At 5 p.m. last evening the state of the undermentioned fishing streams was as follows: Oreti: Reports from Dipton state that the Oreti is low and clear, and in good condition for fly fishing. The recent rains have had practically no effect on the river above Dipton. Aparima: According to reports from Riverton, the Aparima is in good fly order. Makarewa: The Makarewa is right down to normal, and some good fish are being taken, on the fly and minnow in the evenings.
