SPAHLINGER SERUM

INTENTIONS OF GOVERNMENT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 29. In the House of Representatives to-day, Mr H. Atmore asked if the Government would expedite arrangements for securing an adequate supply of serum for Spahlinger treatment for people suffering from tuberculosis. Replying at -once, Mr Massey said that he had always been impressed by the importance of providing a reniedy, if such were obtainable, for this disease. He had taken the opportunity when in England of looking into this subject with M. Spahlinger himself and he was convinced that if there was one man in the world who had found something like a remedy for tuberculosis it was M. Spahlinger. The Government was in communication With M. Spahlinger and he (Mr Massey) hoped to have something to say on the matter before the session ended.
