WOMEN TAKE "MILD” DRUGS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 31. Margaret Thomson, aged 40, and Lilian Ester Heywood, aged 62, both married, were charged this morning with shoplifting, and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment. Counsel said that the women had been taking a fair amount of mild drugs. Their husbands were in good financial positions.
