NEGLIGENT DRIVING
CHARGES AGAINST AUCKLAND YOUTH. ACCUSED DISAPPEARS. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 19. The disappearance of a 16-year-old boy, against whonf a charge of manslaughter has been made out, was mentioned at the Police Court. It was stated that the boy was in charges of a motor which collided with and fatally injured a widow, named Mrs Kate Dowding in Karangahape road on May 17. Charges of driving a car without a license, negligently driving a car, and failing after the accident to stop and give his name and address were also preferred against the youth. The Magistrate issued a warrant for his arrest, the name being suppressed.
