COLLSION WITH PRINCE
OLD LADY’S DISCOMFITURE. LONDON, April 2. An old lady hurriedly attempted to enter a Continental boat train at London, and collided with a passenger standing in the doorway of a reserved saloon. looking up she saw that the passenger was the Prince of Wales, who was departing to Biarritz, where he will spend a holiday. The Prince smiled good-humouredly, and raised his hat, and the lady, who was greatly confused, withdrew. The Prince is travelling incognito as the Earl of Chester. He did not show any signs of his recent accident, except that one eye was discoloured. He looked well and walked vigorously, and smilingly acknowledged the cheers. When the train started he breezily perched on the arm of a seat and lighted his pipe.
