WIDOW’S SECOND CHOICE. LONDON, March 28. Mrs Lambart, whose marriage in 1922 to Captain Richard Lambart was not revealed until his death, is to be married on Easter Monday. She met her fiance, Mr Herbert Rich, in consequence of the tragic incident at the funeral of her husband. At the graveside a young woman in widow’s weeds assumed the place of the deceased’s widow and dropped a bunch of narcissi on to the coffin. She proved to be Mrs Lambart, the marriage having taken place in a registry office in 1922. After the publicity given to the incident several offers of marriage were made to her, but sne was struck by the circumstance that Mr Rich’s wife died at the same time as Captain Lambart.
