BRITISH COMMUNISTS

PARTY NEARLY BANKRUPT. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, February 17. (Received February 17, 7.5 p.m.) The early dissolution of the British Communist Party is predicted. It is already bankrupt in leadership and funds. It is estimated that the party received £lOO,OOO from Russia, which has now developed very complete contempt for the party’s failure to achieve results and :s stopping remittances. The membership is under 2,000. Probably the Clyde ship and steward element alone will continue the Communistic disruptive work.
