(Received February 14, 1.30 a.m.) Miss Derrett, while surfing at Bronte tanight, was seized by a large shark. Constable Rushbrook went to her assistance and dragged her from the jaws of the monster. Her left leg was completely severed below the knee. Miss Derrett was sent to the Hospital in a critical condition.
