DISASTROUS ’QUAKE
ON ECUADOR-COLUMBIAN FRONTIER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) VANCOUVER, December 15. (Received December 16, 11.35 p.m.) Earthquake© destroyed two towns on the Ecuador-Columbia frontier. Many persons are dead, 85 bodies have already been recovered. The bodies were taken from the ruins of Cumbal, which, with a town of Chile, was the severest sufferer. According to the meagre reports so far received a large number of persons were injured.
