COUNTING THE VOTES “THE TICKET” LEADING IN NORTH ISLAND SOUTH ISLAND VOTES NOT YET COUNTED. (Special to the Times.) WELLINGTON, December !4. The Returning Officer continued on Friday the counting of votes in the North Island in the postal ballot for members of the Dairy Export Control Board. Seen at the close of the day, Mr Hodgkins stated that the count of the North Island votes was being done first and was proceeding satisfactorily. He indicated that the progress count showed that the “ticket” was leading. The members nominated on the “ticket.” were Messrs K. Dalrymple (Bulls, Rangltikei), H. D. Forsyth (Eltham, Taranaki), W. Goodfellow (Hamilton), W. Grounds (Hokianga), W. A. Irons (Martinborough, Wairarapa), W. C. Motion (Wauku, Auckland).
