COTTON CROP
SMALLER THAN EXPECTED BUT VERY VALUABLE. (By Telegi &?h —Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian aud N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, December 12. The Department of Agriculture announces that the season’s cotton crop will be 10,081,000 bales representing a reduction of 167,000 bales below the Department’s. November estimates. This crop, although one of the smallest in recent years, is one of the most valuable, it being estimated that it is worth approximately 1,494,000,000 dollars.
