The following cases have been set down for hearing at the next meeting of the Supreme Court at Invercargill, commencing Tuesday, November 20, at 10.30 a.m. CRIMINAL. 1 —For Trial— E-ex v David McLister, alleged theft of gold. Rex v G. W. B. Dickson, alleged theft of rabbitskins. —For Sentence— Rex v T. E. Hardwiok, breaking, entering and theft (three charges). Rex v T. E. Hardwick and John Younger, escaping from prison, and four charges of breaking, entering and theft. CIVIL. -yßefore Judge and Jury— Mary Malone (Mr G. McDonald) v Public Trustee as administrator in the estate of M. Malone deceased (Macalister Bros.), claim for £1,341 services rendered. Janet Cooper (Stout and Lillicrap) v Union Steamship Co., Ltd., (Russell, Son and Meredith), claim for £2,500 damages arising out of the death of her husband at Bluff. —Before a Judge alone— Borough of Invercargill (Longuet and Robertson) v G. Cruickshank as trustee of St. Paul’s Sunday School (W. J. and J. Tait), claim for rates. John Moir (Mr A. H. Aitken) v Alexander Simpson (Smith and Dolamore), claim for £993, amount alleged to to owing and salary. Counter claim for £163 or accounts. Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., (Macalister Bros.) v Andrew G. Brown (Mr W. Y. H. Hall), claim for £287 13s lid. Invercargill Borough Council (Longuet and Robertson) v Henry J. Donnelly as executor of will of James Donnelly deceased, claim for possession, rent and mesne profits. James Gedney (Stout and Lillicrap) v Catherine Laffey, claim for £2OO cash lent. —ln Banco— J. A. Butler (Smith and Dolamore) v R. Butler and others (Stout and Lillicrap), originating summons in estate of James Butler deceased. William Sawers (Russell, Son and Meredith) v John Carroll (Mr W. Macalister), appeal from magistrate’s decision. Also further appeal under J. P. Act on point of law. IN DIVORCE. —Before a Judge and Jury— Elizabeth L. Loe (Macalister Bros) v I. W. Lee (Stout and Lillicrap), petition for dissolution. —Before a Judge alone — R. Donaldson (Watson and Haggitt) v K. Donaldson (Russell, Son and Meredith), petition for dissolution.
