A meeting of dairy factory suppliers today selected Mr Sydney Smith, secretary of the Central Dairy Co., Ltd., as a candidate to represent Canterbury on the Dairy Control Board. PREPARING FOR AN ELECTION. ELECTORAL ROLLS NOW READY. (Special to the Times.) WELLINGTON, November 14. The electoral rolls are now ready for the &outh and North Islands for the election of members of the Dairy Export Board to take place by postal ballot on December 13. The number on the roll is as follows: North Island, 33,000; South Island, 18,000. Six candidates are to be elected for the North and three for the South Island, there being two district constituencies.
