FREIGHTS INCREASED

ON WOOL AND SHEEPSKINS AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ONE-EIGHTH OF PENNY PER LB. (Special to the Times). WELLINGTON, November 14. Shippers are being advised by the various shipping companies that a general increase of one-eighth per lb. on the freights on ■wool and sheepskins to the United Kingdom will operate as from Yesterday. The new freights are: greasy wool Id per lb., slip wool 1 l-Bd., washed wool lid., sheepskins Id. The above rates are plus the cutomary primage. Washed and scoured wool ex-last season’s sales will be carried at last season’s rate, less the rebate applicable to the sale from which the wool was bought.
