AUSTRALIAN’S DEFINITION’ LONDON. June 2T. Education in a democratic country was described in a paper read before the Imperial Education Conference by Mr Frank Tate, Director of Education for Victoria. He said that an excellent description of such education was such development of the individual as would enable him to get the best out of life for himself and to be of the best service to the community.
