Aviation crashes throughout the world during the last six months totalled 90, in which 106 persons were killed and 64 injured. NAVAL BALLOON WRECKED. NEW YORK, July 9. A naval balloon left Indianopolis on Tuesday in a national race, and has been found floating in the Lake Erie, the basket being torn from the bag. Lieuts. Roth and Null are missing and hope for their recovery has been abandoned. The log describes briefly a struggle with storms for many hours before the ropes broke.
